Located in Woodlawn Park at the end of a
main arterial street in Bradley, Illinois
the revised bus transfer configuration
promotes a safe environment for riders who
wish to change busses. The master plan
divides the site into three distinct zones.
On the east end, nearest the main arterial
intersection, is located a entrance plaza
housing a fountain, clock tower, and public
pavilion. In the center of the site is
the bus transfer station. The third
zone is a neighborhood park placed on the
west end of the site where it will be
adjacent to the residential lots surrounding
the site and near a local elementary school
that sits across the street. The new
configuration will be a benefit to the
public transportations system, as well as
the surrounding community.
