World Trade Center Memorial

The attacks on, and subsequent collapse of, the World Trade Center Towers in New York left a vast pile of mangled steel elements.  The Village of Oak Lawn has received several of these steel pieces to be used as a monument to the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives that day in the line of duty.  Tria architecture is working with local artist, and Fulbright Award recipient, Erik Blome on the monument to be located adjacent to the Oak Lawn train station.
