The
Broadview-Westchester Joint Water Agency
hired the team of Tria Architecture and
Baxter & Woodman to design the new 10th
Avenue Headquarters and Pumping Station.
This pumping station will house offices and
meeting rooms for the agency as well as the
pumps and equipment to provide fresh water
to the two neighboring communities.
The building
will sit in a very high profile location
within the community. It will be
flanked by a major commercial corridor to
the north and an existing neighborhood park
to the south. Through the design of
the building and its site Tria
Architecture is working toward addressing
the needs of both portions of the community
while serving the needs of the Owner.
