Worth Public Library

The renovation plan for the Worth Public Library relocated the circulation and adult reference desks to form an information hub at the entrance of the building.  The plan also separated the youth and young adult areas from the adult areas to give each age group their own identity within the library.  The adults now have a quiet work environment within the adult lounge, while the teenagers have been given their own space in a young adult lounge with their own computers.  The youth area is organized in a maze-like configuration to make the space feel more playful.  A family reading area was also added to provide a place for young children to play while their older siblings are reading or for the library staff to hold reading time.
