Adjacent to the City Storage Building, that is currently under construction, the City of Country Club Hills installed a monster flagpole to display their patriotism to all those driving on nearby Interstate 80.  The 50 foot by 80 foot flag sits atop a 165 foot pole that truly makes it visible from any of the surrounding neighborhoods Tria Architecture assisted the City with the placement of the flagpole on the site, the design of the lighting for the flag, and is currently working with the landscape architects, Planning Resources Inc., on the design of a memorial to the City's fallen soldiers that will be installed during the summer of 2008 at the base of the flagpole.
